Adding 3rd Party apps to your iPhone/iTouch 3.0

Software Requirements:
WinSCP
installd
itunes 8.0
ipa or app files
AppSync 3.0


Step 1: Jailbreak your phone
Step 2: add the following source in Cydia: http://cydia.hackulo.us
Step 3: install AppSync 3.0 from Cydia
Step 30: log in to wireless IP of device using winscp.
Step 3a: download a file called installd
Step 3b: move file to the following directory on iPhone/Ipod Touch /usr/libexec
Step 3c: change permissions for this file to 0777

Step 4: Reboot device.
Step 5: connect device to computer and open iTunes
Step 6: add app to applications folder in itunes
Step 7: sync device

*beta method tested on ipod touch with firmware 3.0
